Useful; encouraging efforts over 1m on first two starts, before getting off the mark over 1m2f at Newcastle in October 2019; made winning return to action after long break in April 2021 over same C&D in handicap off a mark of 80; followed up in good style at Wolverhampton in June off 84; is now 3-3 on Tapeta; translated that good form to turf when winning a heritage handicap over 1m6f at Newmarket in July; fourth of seven next time over same C&D but better effort in first-time cheekpieces over 2m2f at same venue in September, finishing clear second of nine to unexposed Irish-trained winner; down the field in the Cesarewitch over same C&D in October (bit short of room over 3f out); showed he retained ability when close second in 12f Haydock handicap after a 609-day break in June 2023; also ran well in competitive handicap over 12f at Royal Ascot, finishing third, built on that by winning a heritage handicap over 1m6f at Newmarket in July and highly creditable third in Ebor (beaten 1l) in next start in August; ran as well as could have been expected in a 1m4f Group 1 after that.
