half-brother to French 1m winner Sailing Home; dam Group-placed 12.5f/14.5f winner (RPR 105); promising third in 10f maiden at Chelmsford in November 2020 and filled same position at Wolverhampton when next seen in 12f novice stakes in March 2021; off the mark on turf debut at Pontefract in early April; slowly away and not able to land a blow in Group 3 Classic Trial at Sandown (1m2f) later that same month; gelded and not seen for 357 days until winning at Chelmsford on first run as a 4yo in April 2022; down the field in 1m4f handicap at Royal Ascot in June where he was slowly away; slightly worse than midfield in 1m6f heritage handicap at Newmarket when next seen in July (hampered and eased); bounced back to winning form in 1m6f handicap at Goodwood (wore a hood) at the end of that month and followed up in the Ebor at York (1m6f) in August; ran another cracker when third in the Group 2 Long Distance Cup at Ascot (2m) in October; well held on first two starts in early 2023 in Saudi Arabia and Meydan; returned from break with victory in 1m6f conditions race at Salisbury in September of that year and followed up in clearcut fashion at prohibitive odds at Newmarket (2m) later that month; completed hat-trick in Group 2 Long Distance Cup at Ascot under Frankie Dettori, bravely edging out Kyprios, on next start in October; absent after until finishing third in the Dubai Gold Cup in late March; tried to make all in the Gold Cup at Ascot (2m4f) in June and was only headed late on by Kyprios, the pair pulling clear of the rest.
