Birchwood To Race For Godolphin

Godolphin has purchased progressive two-year-old colt Birchwood, a son of Dark Angel, trained by Richard Fahey.

John Ferguson, Bloodstock Advisor to His Highness Sheikh Mohammed, commented: "Birchwood is an unbeaten winner of two races, including a valuable Conditions race at Newbury. He could run in a Listed race in Ireland next week and a possible tilt at the G2 Superlative Stakes at the July Meeting in Newmarket."

Birchwood will remain in training with Richard Fahey and will wear the Royal Blue silks in his next start.
