Best Of Times Up For Cocked Hat Stakes

Best Of Times attempts to earn his ticket to Epsom for the Investec Derby in Friday's Cocked Hat Stakes at Goodwood. Saeed bin Suroor, his trainer, reports the colt to be "in good form."

Saeed added: "He won well at Newmarket last time and he has pleased me since.

"He worked very nicely five days ago, and he is ready to go. We would like some cut in the ground for him.

"If he runs well, then the Derby is on the cards," the trainer added.

Best Of Times faces six rivals, including Storm The Stars, who finished second to Hans Holbein in the Chester Vase on his most recent outing. This will give a direct line to Derby form.
