Abu Qir Bay harbours G3 ambitions in Kokura Nisai Stakes

Abu Qir Bay aims to follow up a winning introduction as she takes on colts for the first time in the G3 Kokura Nisai Stakes at Chukyo, Japan, on Sunday, 1 September.

The homebred daughter of Fine Needle, who is trained by Tomoyasu Sakaguchi, overcame a wide trip to take a Fukushima newcomers’ race by half a length in July.
