Silver Knott continued his renaissance as a middle-distance star with a third straight G2 success in the United States on Sunday as he readily made all in the Bowling Green Stakes.

The four-year-old broke the 11-furlong course record at Saratoga, adding to his equally impressive wins in the Elkhorn Stakes and Man o’War Stakes. A return to G1 level beckons for the 2022 Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Turf runner-up, with the Joe Hirsch Turf Classic a likely next step.

Rebel’s Romance could yet join Silver Knott stateside following a valiant third in Saturday’s G1 King George VI & Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Ascot. The five-time G1 winner, who was making a first UK appearance for two years, has the G1 Hong Kong Vase as his main objective for the rest of the year.

Eternal Hope makes her first start since October in Thursday’s Glens Falls Stakes, while Cinderella’s Dream looks to follow up her recent G1 Belmont Oaks success in Friday’s G2 Saratoga Oaks.

Glorious Goodwood features a hotly anticipated third clash between G1 2,000 Guineas hero Notable Speech and his Royal Ascot conqueror Rosallion in Wednesday’s G1 Qatar Sussex Stakes. Aomori City and Noble Dynasty also head to the South Downs on Tuesday.
