Anamba makes her seasonal return in the Irish Classic, the G1 Tattersalls Irish 1,000 Guineas, over a mile at the Curragh on Sunday, May 22.
The Michael Halford-trained filly had two starts last season, both over seven furlongs in September, and went down by half a length to Coolmore on her latest outing in the G3 C L & M F Weld Park Stakes at the same course.
She beat the same filly by a head on her debut in a Leopardstown maiden.
William Buick, who partnered Anamba in the C L & M F Weld Park Stakes, takes the ride again on the daughter of Shamardal.
Anamba, drawn in stall five, faces 13 other three-year-old fillies including QIPCO 1000 Guineas winner Minding, G3 Irish 1,000 Guineas Trial scorer Now Or Never, French G1 runner-up Turret Rocks and Coolmore.
Michael Halford commented: "We had a very wet spring and Anamba took a bit of time to come to hand but I am pleased with her now and she looks to be in good form.
"I would love the ground to stay good - the better the ground, the better she is - so I would be hoping that we might miss some of the showers that are forecast.
"This run will tell us where to go with her for the rest of the season."
