Answered bids for a hat-trick of wins in the Group Three Coolmore Vintage Crop Stakes at Navan, Ireland, on Sunday, May 17.
The Jim Bolger-trained four-year-old steps up to a mile and three quarters for the first time following a pair of impressive Listed successes over shorter distances, including a facile victory in the extended 12-furlong Listed Martin Molony Stakes on his return to action this year at Limerick on April 25.
He came back from a lay-off to gain a neck verdict in the 10-furlong Trigo Stakes at Leopardstown in October, having been fourth over the same course and distance in the Group Three Derrinstown Stud Derby Trial Stakes in May, 2014.
Answered was runner-up in the Group Three P.W. McGrath Memorial Ballysax Stakes, also over a mile and a quarter, at Navan in April, 2014, and made a winning debut the previous month with a smooth victory in a mile maiden at the Curragh.
Kevin Manning, who has ridden Answered on all of his starts, partners the Authorized colt again.
Jim Bolger commented: "Answered is very well and has been in excellent form since his win at Limerick.
"I am expecting a very good run from him."
Answered takes on seven opponents including Forgotten Rules and Biographer, who were first and second in the Group Two QIPCO British Champions Long Distance Cup at Ascot in October, the improving Panama Hat and Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby runner-up Kingfisher.
