Beautiful Romance Misses 1000 Guineas

Beautiful Romance is to miss Sunday's QIPCO 1000 Guineas at Newmarket following a slight setback.

"It is nothing major, but it has held her up enough to rule her out of racing this weekend," said trainer Saeed bin Suroor.

"But I am hopeful that she will be back on target for the Oaks and other big races this summer," he added.

Beautiful Romance finished a solid third in the G3 Nell Gwyn Stakes earlier this month.

Godolphin will be represented by Local Time (Saeed bin Suroor) and Lucida (Jim Bolger) in the 1000 Guineas.
