Hazard seeks a second Group Two victory in the Blazer Stakes over seven furlongs at Flemington, Australia on Sunday, October 4.

The six-year-old mare, trained by Lee & Anthony Freedman, gained a cosy length and a quarter success in the Group Two Best Security Dane Ripper Stakes over a slightly shorter at Doomben on June 6.

She has run in both heats of the six-furlong Group Three William Hill Sprint Series at Caulfield so far this season, going down by a short-head to Madam Gangster on August 29 and finishing seventh on September 19.

Anthony Freedman commented: "Quite incredibly, Hazard she has again drawn the extreme outside for this race (15).

"However, we do have James McDonald riding and I think if he can get a run mid-field or a little bit closer three-wide with cover, she is still going to run a great race.

"The mare is in good form, doing very well in the stable and her work on Tuesday was very respectable."

Hazard faces 13 rivals including Jessy Belle and Atlantis Dream, who were third and fifth in heat two Group Three William Hill Sprint Series, and Madam Gangster.
