The Shamardal colt made easy work of winning a six-furlong Novice Stakes for James McDonald, confirming the high regard in which he is held at home.
Trainer Charlie Appleby said: "We were delighted with his win. We have always liked him.
"I was keen that he get more experience before we looked at Goodwood, and he could not have been more impressive," he added.
Blue Point is now unbeaten after two starts. He won on debut at Nottingham.
