Two-year-old colt Chamarel makes his debut in the Group Three Canonbury Stakes over five and a half furlongs at Rosehill Gardens, Australia, on Saturday, January 31.
The son of Exceed And Excel, trained by John O'Shea, is out of Colour, a Group Three winner over six furlongs.
John O'Shea said: "Chamarel presents into this race off the back of two really strong barrier trials.
"He has had a great preparation and, most importantly, he has thrived whilst in work and put on weight.
"From gate five, I would expect him to be in a forward position and the prospect of a rain-affected track won't hold any issues for him."
Chamarel, with James McDonald up, tackles five other juveniles headed by Vancouver, who made a winning debut at Randwick, plus newcomers Outreach, Mawahibb, Ulster and Cashing Up.
