Carrington bids for a second success at Goodwood, UK, in the 10-furlong Matchbook Betting Exchange Handicap (14.00hrs local time) on day three of the Qatar Goodwood Festival, Thursday, July 28.
The Charlie Appleby-trained three-year-old captured a seven-furlong nursery at the course in August last year and also scored over the same distance on his seasonal return in a Doncaster handicap in April.
The son of New Approach then ran twice over a mile in handicaps before coming home a creditable fourth in the Listed Glasgow Stakes over 13 furlongs at Hamilton on July 15.
Carrington, who is ridden for the first time by James Doyle and breaks from stall two in a field of 17, steps back down into handicap company.
Charlie Appleby commented: "Carrington can be his own worst enemy as he has a habit of missing the start.
"He has always shown ability at home and has the talent to be competitive provided he is on his best behaviour."
The same trainer and jockey team up with Manama, who opposes 12 other juvenile fillies in the seven-furlong Dove 100 Colours EBF British Stallion Studs Fillies' Maiden (16.20hrs local time).
Manama, a daughter of Cape Cross, made a promising debut when dead-heating for second in a fillies' maiden over a furlong shorter at Newmarket's July Festival earlier this month. She is drawn in stall 11.
Charlie Appleby added: "I was pleased with Manama's first start at Newmarket over six furlongs.
"She has been working nicely, stepping up in trip to seven furlongs will suit and I am confident that she will give a good account of herself."
