The Dutch Art colt, who made such a favourable impression when winning on his only start to date, at the Curragh on May 22, will remain with trainer Paddy Twomey for his next engagement, which is likely to be the G2 Coventry Stakes on June 14.
John Fergsuson, Godolphin's chief executive and racing manager, said Van Der Decken had plenty of talent and great potential.
"He is an athletic colt, who has been well educated, and he is just the type to add depth to our juvenile line-up at the Royal meeting and beyond," Ferguson said.
