Copy steps up to Pattern company for the first time in the Group Three Darley Crown 2015 over six and a half furlongs at Hawkesbury, Australia, on Saturday, May 2.

The four-year-old Street Cry filly, who is trained by John O'Shea, has made two handicap appearances over a furlong further on soft ground at Rosehill Gardens this year, coming home fifth on March 15 and taking a close third on February 25, and also finished second in a Canterbury Park handicap over just beyond six furlongs on February 11.

She has gained three wins, all at seven furlongs, including a pair of handicap victories on heavy and dead going at Warwick Farm in August and July, 2014.

John O'Shea commented: "On face value, Copy looks to be well out of her grade but on the plus side she is a very fit mare and is adept in wet ground which she will get the chance to show here.

"The race will be won by a fit horse that is confident in the ground and normally runs further than 1,300m which this mare can do with a limited weight.

"If ever she is going to get some black type, it will be here."

Copy, the mount of regular rider James McDonald, opposes up to 11 other fillies and mares including Group Two runner-up Peron, Group Three second Rose Of Choice and Group Three scorer My Sabeel.

Transfers, who was also declared for the Darley Crown, is a non-runner due to the forecast heavy ground.
