Devonshire goes for a first G3 success on her seasonal return in the Lodge Park Stud EBF Park Express Stakes over a mile at the Curragh, Ireland, on Sunday, March 20.

The four-year-old filly, trained by Willie McCreery, ran some excellent races last year, including when taking third behind Pleascach in the Classic, the G1 Tattersalls Irish 1,000 Guineas, over the same course and distance in May.

The daughter of Fast Company was also placed in a pair of G3 races over a mile at Leopardstown in the spring and gained an decisive win in the nine-furlong Listed Listowel Stakes on heavy ground at Listowel in August.

On her latest start, Devonshire came home a close seventh after meeting trouble in running in the G1 E P Taylor Stakes Presented by HPIbet over a mile and a quarter at Woodbine, Canada, on October 18.

Devonshire, drawn nine of 11 runners, is ridden for the second time by William Buick.

Willie McCreery commented: "The ground looks like it will be soft at the Curragh, which Devonshire won't mind and hopefully it might inconvenience some of her rivals.

"She got stuck on the inside in the E P Taylor Stakes. We don't know whether she would have quickened if she had room but Patrick Husbands came back and said that he had loads of horse but nowhere to go.

"She hasn't grown over the winter but is a very athletic filly. I am looking forward to another good season and hopefully she will be part of it."
