Devonshire tackles nine furlongs for the first time in the Group Three Dance Design Fillies Stakes at the Curragh, Ireland on Sunday, August 30.
The Willie McCreery-trained three-year-old filly stayed on well to finish the neck second on her latest start in the Listed Vincent O'Brien Ruby Stakes over an extended mile at Killarney on August 19.
Despite disappointing at Royal Ascot in June, Devonshire has been a consistent performer at Pattern level in 2015, posting an excellent third in the mile Group One Tattersalls Irish 1,000 Guineas at the Curragh on May 24 and also taking the runner-up spot in Group Three contests over seven furlongs and a mile at Leopardstown.
Willie McCreery said: "Devonshire is in great form. She has a nice draw in three and the ground should suit.
"I have no concerns about stepping up to nine furlongs. Even the last day, 100 yards after the line she was a length in front of the horse that beat her a neck so it should be OK."
James Doyle last rode Devonshire at the Curragh and resumes the partnership.
Eight rivals include Grade One Belmont Oaks third Outstanding, Group Two Lanwades Stud Stakes winner Brooch and Group Three scorer My Titania.
