The four-year-old Street Cry filly, trained by John O'Shea with James McDonald up, was slightly slow into stride and soon went along in fifth of the 11 runners on the inside.
She started to make gradual progress from half-way and was close-up wider behind the leaders entering the straight.
Entertains had nowhere to go with a wall of horses in front of her before being switched right with just over a furlong remaining.
She ran on very well but could not quite get to the head winner Adorabeel whose time was 1m 34.13s on good turf.
John O'Shea reported: "Entertains was boxed in on the corner and restricted for room until she got clear around 200 metres out.
"She then let down, chased hard and was closing on the leaders rapidly. It was an extremely good second-up run and indicative that she has a big race win in her this preparation."
