Two-year-old colts Exosphere and Mogador step up to Group Two company for the Pro-Ride Skyline Stakes over six furlongs at Warwick Farm, Australia, on Saturday, February 28.
Exosphere (John O'Shea/James McDonald) stormed to an impressive four and a half-length success under hands and heels in a five-furlong maiden at Kembla Grange on February 14, having finished last over half a furlong further on his debut at Rosehill in November.
Mogador (John O'Shea/James Doyle) makes his second start after coming home second to Exosphere at Kembla Grange, when he kept on after racing keenly.
John O'Shea commented: "Exosphere presents into this race from a lovely gate (one) and a good preparation. He has trained on since his excellent win and I don't believe the step up to 1,200 metres will pose any problems for him.
"Hopefully, he will get the opportunity to get away from the rail and be somewhere out in the open in the run which should enable him to continue on his winning way. He is fit and well and I am confident he will produce a forward showing in this race
"Mogador will roll forward from gate six and find himself just outside the lead. I think the tempo of six furlongs will suit him a bit better as he was a bit rushed and caught wide in transit at his first start, and this should allow him to get into a nice rhythm and finish the race off.
"He is fit and well and I am confident he will produce a forward showing in this race."
The Godolphin contenders oppose five rivals including Wolf Cry and Sebring Sun, who were third and fifth in the Listed Lonhro Stakes.
