Fire Dancer looking to spark in G3 Ibis Summer Dash

Fire Dancer aims to atone for a no-show in last year’s G3 Ibis Summer Dash when she lines up in the Niigata sprint for a second time on Sunday, 28 July.

The Pyro mare failed to beat a rival over the straight five furlongs 12 months ago but bounced back to form on her next start with a second in the Listed Lumiere Autumn Dash over the same course and distance in October.

A dual Stakes winner at Fukushima, the Shintaro Suzuki-trained six-year-old has placed in the last two renewals of Niigata’s Idaten Stakes, including finishing third on her most recent outing in May.
