Godolphin is doubly represented in the Group Two Coolmore Furious Stakes with the John O'Shea-trained three-year-olds Ottoman and Calaverite returning in the six-furlong contest at Royal Randwick, Australia, on Saturday, September 5.
Both fillies were last seen out when they filled the first two places in the Group Three Girvan Waugh Percy Sykes Stakes over six furlongs at Royal Randwick on April 11, with Ottoman getting the better of her stable companion by a short-head.
Ottoman finished ninth in the Group One Tooheys New Golden Slipper, over six furlongs at Rosehill Gardens on March 21 and the Exceed And Excel filly was runner-up in the Group Two Guinness Reisling Stakes over six furlongs at Royal Randwick on March 7.
Calaverite, by Lonhro, won twice in Listed races last season, taking a five-furlong contest at Royal Randwick in October and a six-furlong contest at Moonee Valley in March.
John O'Shea said: "First-up from a spell, Ottoman comes into this race off a nice trial performance and has drawn a beautiful gate in four.
"She handles wet ground and consequently I feel she presents with an opportunity to be very competitive. She has good improvement to come on whatever she does here but has sufficient foundation to run well.
"Calvarite comes in off two trials but has drawn an awkward gate in 10.
"She will be ridden conservatively from there in an attempt to lay a good foundation for the rest of the spring but I think gate 10 will compromise her chance of winning.
"I am still happy with the way she is going and am looking for a nice positive start to this preparation."
James McDonald partners Ottoman, with Sam Clipperton on Calaverite.
Seven other starters are due go to post, including Group Two Produce Stakes scorer Look To The Stars and Group Two Silver Shadow winner Speak Fondly.
