Global Weekly Preview: It's Winx again -- by 4.3 lengths

Such is the level of superiority displayed by the champion Winx in her races that a respected local publication has predicted her winning margin in Saturday's G1 Queen Elizabeth Stakes at Randwick will be 4.3 lengths.
As this extraordinary daughter of Street Cry attempts her 17th consecutive win, most pundits and tipsters in Australia have given up trying to find one to beat her -- now they just forecast how far she wins by.
Winx is a 'wonder mare' to be celebrated, which is what another big Sydney crowd will do on Day 2 of The Championships if she maintains her remarkable consistency in the A$4m feature race.
She has not been beaten in two years. Her last defeat came in the G1 ATC Oaks at Randwick on 11 April 2015 in which she finished an honourable second to Gust Of Wind.
Her record stands at 26 starts for 20 wins and 3 seconds -- and 10 of her last 16 consecutive wins have been at G1 level. She has won from 1,300m to 2,200m.
Best Bets, the Melbourne-based weekly form guide that forecast the winning margin, expected Winx to 'do her thing' which, it explained, was to be the best racehorse in the world. 'Enjoy the show folks, look at her fly,' they advised.
For trainer Chris Waller, it has been an exciting time, preparing the mare for all the big races. But he has remained calm, understated, and professional at every turn. Asked how he felt, Waller replied: "A bit like a kid waiting for Christmas."
TJ Smith had Tulloch and Kingston Town, while Bart Cummings will forever be associated with Galilee and Saintly, and Colin Hayes with the ill-fated Dulcify.
Now, Waller has forged an unbreakable link with Winx.
Godolphin trainer John O'Shea is happy Hartnell is in great shape for another clash with Winx. They have met six times so far, with the score line reading: Winx 6, Hartnell 0.
But Hartnell may get his chance for a big win this preparation when sent to Hong Kong for the QEII Cup at Sha Tin later this month. He will only have to run a respectable race to gain selection for the Hong Kong race.
There are four G1s on the Randwick card, and while Winx is a stand-out in the Queen Elizabeth, the others are very open.
The Charlie Appleby-trained Penglai Pavilion is preferred to stablemate Polarisation in the G1 Sydney Cup when both can use their stamina reserves to great effect.
Assign is a good stayer and a definite danger, probably more so than prolific winner Big Duke, who raced under the name Swashbuckling when winning a small race at Wetherby for Michael Wigham in the UK prior to export.
Nurse Kitchen has excellent prospects of landing the G1 Australian Oaks, though Waking Moment and La Bella Diosa are also serious contenders.
The remaining G1 is the Coolmore Legacy Stakes, which is a very open contest. Zanbagh appears to have recaptured form and can beat Silent Sedition, the G1 William Reid Stakes winner.
