Best Of Days, who created a big impression when winning his first start by 6 lengths, has been bought privately by Godolphin and could be among the stable's York runners next week.

The Azamour colt will remain in the stable of Hugo Palmer, who also trains Home Of The Brave for the 'Royal Blues.'

Best Of Days is set to run in either the G3 Acomb Stakes, over 7 furlongs on Knavesmire, or the Listed Stonehenge Stakes, over one mile at Salisbury.

"He's in great nick after his Sandown win," Palmer reported today (Friday). "The immediate options are York or Salisbury, but he is a colt with long-term potential. He is a very nice horse.

"And it's great to be training another for Godolphin," he added.
