Godolphin team hit the streets of London in aid of Racing Welfare

Over 42,000 runners will line up at the start of the London Marathon on Sunday, 28 April and this year will include a team of five runners from Godolphin, who have all spent the past few months not only training but also raising money for Racing Welfare.
They are led from the back of the field by Hugh Anderson, Managing Director (UK and Dubai), who will be running his sixth marathon. He is aiming for a sub four-hour finish whilst still being able to smile. He will be joined by smart performer Neil Pollard, Barn Manager at Godolphin Stables, who will be aiming to get home well under the three-hour mark.
Aiming to complete their first marathons are Jono Mills (Bloodstock Director), David Walsh (Nominations, Dalham Hall Stud) and Anna Ridges (Group Editorial and Brand Manager).
Hugh Anderson said, “Racing Welfare is a charity that is very close to Godolphin’s heart and one that is absolutely crucial to our industry.
“We have all been working hard in preparation for what will hopefully be a fantastic day.”
