Hazard goes after a third consecutive win when running in the Group Two Best Security Dane Ripper Stakes over shy of seven furlongs at Doomben, Australia, on Saturday, June 6.
The five-year-old mare, trained by Lee & Anthony Freedman, ran on strongly for a comfortable three quarters of a length victory in the six-furlong Group Three William Hill Proud Miss Stakes at Morphettville on May 16.
She gained a brave head success in a Caulfield handicap over five and a half furlongs on May 2, having finished seventh over the same course and distance in the Listed Bel Esprit Stakes on April 18.
The daughter of Flying Spur also scored by a head in a five-furlong handicap at Sandown-Hillside on April 1, her first appearance for almost five months.
Anthony Freedman commented: "Hazard has drawn gate 10, which is not an ideal draw but, by the same token, we know she has good gate speed and we will use that.
"Apart from her, there doesn't appear to be a lot of speed in the race. There are a lot of mares that get back so I thought she would be able to get across easily.
"With Lumosty sneaking into the Stradbroke, there is only Catkins to beat and our mare has a very good chance."
Hazard, with James McDonald in the saddle for the first time, faces 10 other filles and mares including multiple Group Two scorer Catkins and UBET BTC Cup fourth Bring Me The Maid.
