Progressive filly Hidden Gold returns to turf on her Pattern race debut in the Group Three Longines Sagaro Stakes over two miles at Ascot, UK, on Wednesday, April 29.
The four-year-old, who is trained by Saeed bin Suroor, won on three of her four appearances during the All-Weather season in Britain and ran on well to finish a close third in a valuable two-mile conditions race on Polytrack at Lingfield Park on April 3.
She was a comfortable winner of a conditions race over an extended two miles on Tapeta at Wolverhampton on December 13 and had two Polytrack victories at Lingfield Park, including a clear success in a 13-furlong Listed contest in October.
The Shamardal filly also scored on her latest turf start, readily taking a Musselburgh handicap over a mile and five furlongs in September, and was ninth in a 12-furlong heritage handicap at Ascot earlier the same month.
Saeed bin Suroor said: "Hidden Gold ran well to finish third on her latest start and has been in good form lately.
"She stays two miles well and I am hopeful of another good run, although this looks a tougher race for her."
Hidden Gold, with James Doyle in the saddle for the second time, tackles 12 rivals including dual Prix Royal-Oak winner Tac De Boistron, Prix du Cadran scorer High Jinx, Ladbrokes St Leger sixth Forever Now and Emirates Melbourne Cup ninth Seismos.
Colour Vision won the 2012 renewal of the Sagaro Stakes for Godolphin, when the race was run on Polytrack at Kempton Park.
