Trainer Saeed bin Suroor launches a strong challenge on the Group Two DFS Park Hill Stakes with four-year-old filly Hidden Gold lining up in the extended 14-furlong contest at Doncaster, UK, on Thursday, September 10.
Hidden Gold, a four-time winner during the All-Weather Championships over the winter, steps back down in distance following an excellent third in the extended two-mile Group Two Weatherbys Hamilton Lonsdale Cup at York on August 21.
The Shamardal filly stayed on to take second over 14 furlongs in the Group Three Markel Insurance Fillies' Stakes at Goodwood on July 30 and also made good late headway when fifth in the two-mile Group Three Longines Sagaro Stakes at Ascot in April.
Saeed bin Suroor said: "Hidden Gold ran well at York and came back from the race well.
"I think this trip suits her well and she is a tough filly, who always tries hard.
"I am looking forward to another good run from her."
Regular rider James Doyle again partners Hidden Gold who takes on 10 rivals including Group Two Goodwood Cup fifth Vive Ma Fille and Newmarket Listed winner Gretchen.
Godolphin won the Park Hill Stakes with Echoes In Eternity, who was successful in 2004.
