Consistent three-year-olds Holler and Demonstrate go into the 1200m, G2 Telstra Phonewords Stakes at Moonee Valley on Saturday, October 24 with the chance to fulfil the promise they have shown.

Both have put together good records in strong company and should find the conditions of Saturday's race less testing than some of their recent outings.

Since winning on debut in January, Holler (John O'Shea/James McDonald) has raced against stronger opposition than he meets at the Valley.

Among those opponents has been his highly-regarded stablemate Exosphere.

In what was probably the run of his career, Holler (pictured above) finished third behind Exosphere and top three-year-old Press Statement in the G2 Run To The Roses at Rosehill in August, a performance that suggests a high level of ability.

Last time out he indicated he was close to his best when second to Mahuta in Listed company at Caulfield on October 17.

"He's going really well as he showed last start," said trainer John O'Shea.

"From barrier six he should get a beautiful run and be right in it. If he runs as well as I expect, there's another nice race for him on the final day of the Flemington carnival."

Demonstrate (John O'Shea/James Doyle) has a Moonee Valley win in August to back his prospects on what can be a tricky circuit.

O'Shea gave the son of New Approach a break after his latest appearance when third in the G3 McNeil Stakes at Caulfield after a long initial campaign that began in January and included two wins.

"He'd done a good job and deserved a freshen up, so we took him home to Osborne Park and he's come back really well" he said.

Demonstrate has barrier three and the services of English rider James Doyle.
