Two-year-olds Inner Circle and Italy race over seven furlongs for the first time in the Group Three The Schweppervescence at Rosehill Gardens, Australia, on Saturday, March 28.
Inner Circle (John O'Shea/James McDonald) ran well to take fourth over six furlongs in the Group Two Pago Pago Stakes at Rosehill Gardens on March 14.
The Street Cry colt gained an easy success in a five-and-a-half-furlong maiden at the same course on February 25.
Domesday filly Italy (John O'Shea/Sam Clipperton) has posted two good efforts in Group Two company over six furlongs, coming home third in the Magic Night Stakes at Rosehill Gardens on March 14 and finishing fifth in the six-furlong Group Two Les Johnson Memorial Sweet Embrace Stakes at Warwick Farm on February 28.
She made virtually all to score by half a length in a Canterbury maiden handicap over five and a half furlongs on February 11, having finished runner-up in a five-furlong Randwick conditions race on November 8.
John O'Shea commented: "Inner Circle is coming to a nice peak now - we have increased his work load to which he has responded very well.
"He has drawn awkwardly in 14 but he should roll forward and find a nice position just outside the first three or four runners.
"Italy has continued to thrive in the stable and her work has been absolutely first class.
"From gate six, I think she presents with a beautiful position in the run and ultimately gives her the opportunity to get back into the winner's circle.
"Both runs since her win have been first class but she just needs to execute a bit better to find herself in the winner's circle."
Inner Circle and Italy meet nine other two-year-olds including Group Three scorer Takedown and Kembla Grange maiden winner Delawar.
