It’s Somewhat looking at four-from-four

The ultra-consistent It's Somewhat lines up for the second G1 victory of his latest preparation in Saturday's Doomben Cup with expectations as buoyant as ever about his prospects.
In a three-from-three stretch this time in, It's Somewhat registered the biggest win of his career in Australia's most coveted 1600m race, the G1 Doncaster Mile at Randwick.
The six-year-old followed that with victory in the G2 Hollindale Stakes two weeks ago, that success taking his racetrack earnings to almost $3m.
It's Somewhat, who will be ridden on Saturday by James Doyle, has pleased trainer Darren Beadman since and is drawn to make full use of his front-running style.
"Everything suggest he's held his form and he's come up with a perfect barrier," Beadman said.
"He's worked well and retained his fitness since winning at the Gold Coast. He galloped very nicely there this week."
"If he can repeat what he's done at his last three it should put him into the race. The great thing is that he gives 100 per cent every run, and he still seems to have some freshness in his legs."
It's Somewhat finished third in this race last year, having been fifth in the Hollindale prior to that.
The stable has at least one G1 Stradbroke Handicap prospect on trial in Saturday's G3 BRC Sprint in which Federal (James Doyle) and Handfast (Brenton Avdulla) will carry the Godolphin colours.
"Federal is on a Stradbroke mission and it isn't out of the question that Handfast could also run in the same race," Beadman said.
"All through his career Federal has been competitive at this level and his last run at the Gold Coast was a beauty from a wide gate."
"Handfast has had a short break but trialled extremely well at Rosehill last week. We'll make a decision on where we go next after Saturday, but if he ran well enough he could also go to the Stradbroke."
Godolphin will also be represented in Melbourne on Saturday by Demonstrate in the Listed Straight Six at Flemington.
