The three-year-old daughter of Darley stallion Shamardal was a consistent performer for Godolphin, recording two wins and four placed finishes from eight career starts.
The filly won the Group 2 Rockfel Stakes at Newmarket as a juvenile. She opened up her 2015 campaign with a fine second in the Group 1 1,000 Guineas at Newmarket and was third in the Group 1 Coronation Stakes at Royal Ascot on her penultimate start.
Lucida's trainer Jim Bolger said: "It has been a pleasure to be associated with such a talented filly and we look forward to seeing her produce on the racecourse in the coming years."
