Minnesinger is out to continue his unbeaten start to 2015 in the Group Two Race-Tech Australia Caulfield Autumn Classic over nine furlongs at Caulfield, Australia, on Saturday, February 28.
The three-year-old colt, trained by Lee and Anthony Freedman, ran on strongly from the rear to gain an easy victory in a mile handicap at Sandown Lake on February 4.
He also quickened well to score by a neck over Rostock, with the first two clear, in a Kilmore maiden over an extended seven furlongs on January 4.
Anthony Freedman said: "Minnesinger worked extremely well at Caulfield on Tuesday with another in this race, Moonovermanhattan. They worked over 1,400 metres and went to the line together.
"I am very happy with our horse but I do feel that Moonovermanhattan, being a 92-rated horse versus our 62-rated is the horse to beat."
Dwayne Dunn takes the ride again on Minnesinger, who opposes 12 rivals headed by Firehouse Rock and Moonovermanhattan, who were third and fourth in the Group Two Autumn Stakes, plus Alpine Eagle.
