Nominations for the 2023 Irish Thoroughbred Industry Employee Awards supported by Godolphin close on Monday, August 14 at 5pm.

Nominations can be made online at www.itiea.org and offer €62,000 in prize money along with beautifully crafted Ani Mollereau bronzes.

The awards recognise and showcase the skills, experience and dedication of the hardworking women and men in the thoroughbred breeding and racing industry. Anyone can nominate a colleague or friend working in any role in the thoroughbred breeding and racing industry.

There are seven Irish Thoroughbred Industry Employee Awards along with a Newcomer Award. All eight winners are eligible for the Irish Racing Excellence Award, which will be announced at the awards ceremony. In addition, the Racecourse Award winner, chosen by the Irish Stable Staff Association, will also be revealed on the awards night.

The 2023 Irish Thoroughbred Industry Employee Awards will take place in the Keadeen Hotel in Newbridge, County Kildare on Monday 16 October.

CEO of the Irish Stable Staff Association, Bernard Caldwell said: “The nomination deadline for the Irish Thoroughbred Industry Employee Awards is fast approaching. Anyone can nominate a friend or colleague working in any area of racing and breeding. I would encourage everyone in the industry to nominate and recognise the amazing people we have working behind the scenes in our wonderful sport. Nominating online is very easy and only takes a few minutes but must be completed by the deadline of 5pm on Monday August 14.”
