Polarisation scratched - but still Sydney Cup bound

Polarisation has suffered a superficial leg injury overnight and misses Saturday's G2 Chairman's Handicap at Randwick.
But the Charlie Appleby-trained stayer remains on target for the G1 Sydney Cup on April 8.
Assistant trainer James Ferguson said: "It looks like he has been cast in his box overnight and has knocked his leg.
"He's not lame but it is a little tender, and after phoning Charlie in the UK, we've decided it's best to miss the Chairman's and wait for next week.
"It's a pity because, up to now, Polarisation had not put a foot wrong," Ferguson said.
Godolphin also have Penglai Pavilion from Appleby's yard to run in the Sydney Cup. Both horses are based in an isolation unit at Canterbury racecourse.
