Poster continued an outstanding season for Godolphin’s two-year-old crop in North America as he captured the G2 Remsen Stakes at Aqueduct on Saturday.

Racing on dirt for the first time, Poster showed no problems with the surface to prevail by a nose over Aviator Gui to maintain his perfect record. His victory helped Godolphin pass the $20m mark for owner prize money in North America for 2024, an unprecedented milestone.

Two of the last three winners of the Remsen – Mo Donegal and Dornoch – both returned to New York to win the G1 Belmont Stakes and May foal Poster looks to have plenty of scope for improvement as a three-year-old.

He joins a hugely exciting list of homebred juvenile colts to have enjoyed Graded success in the United States this autumn, headed by G1 Breeders' Futurity victor East Avenue. Following an unlucky stumble leaving the stalls in the Breeders’ Cup Juvenile, the son of Medaglia d'Oro looks set to kick off his Classic campaign at his winter base of Fair Grounds.

G3 Street Sense Stakes scorer Sovereignty and First Resort, successful in the G2 Kentucky Jockey Club Stakes, also feature among a superb team heading into the winter with Triple Crown ambitions.

If anything, the two-year-old fillies have scaled greater heights. Immersive is the Champion Two-Year-Old Filly elect following an unbeaten season that has yielded a G1 hat-trick in the Spinaway Stakes, Darley Alcibiades Stakes and Breeders’ Cup Juvenile Fillies.

Good Cheer has enjoyed a perfect campaign as well, rounding off a progressive campaign with success in the G2 Golden Rod Stakes at Churchill Downs.

With Broadsiding crowned Champion Two-Year-Old in Australia earlier in the year, and Shadow Of Light the leading contender for the same award in Europe, it has proven a remarkable year for Godolphin’s young generation across the world.
