Prix du Muguet repeat bid by Jimmy Two Times

Jimmy Two Times will attempt to win the G2 Prix du Muguet for a second successive year at Saint-Cloud, France, on Tuesday, 1 May.
The Andre Fabre-trained five-year-old ran on strongly to capture the mile contest by half a length 12 months ago, having scored over the same course and distance in the G3 Prix Edmond Blanc a month earlier.
Jimmy Two Times makes his second appearance of the year after coming home third on heavy ground in this year’s renewal of the Prix Edmond Blanc on Monday, 2 April, his Godolphin debut and first race for 11 months.
The son of Kendargent finished third in the G1 Prix Maurice de Gheest over six and a half furlongs at Deauville in August 2016.
Mickael Barzalona has the ride for the second time on Jimmy Two Times, who takes on six rivals including Taareef, runner-up to Godolphin’s Ribchester in last season’s G1 Prix du Moulin de Longchamp and 2017 G1 Dubai Turf second Heshem.
Lisa-Jane Graffard of Godolphin commented: “Jimmy Two Times ran a nice race on his first start of the season and we hope to see that he has stepped up from that effort.
“He likes cut in the ground and any rain will help his chances.”
