Pursuits races over seven furlongs for the first time in the Group Two TBV Thoroughbred Breeders Stakes at Flemington, Australia, on Saturday, March 14.
The two-year-old filly, trained by John O'Shea, went down by six and a half lengths in total when 10th in the Group Two Sportingbet Powered By William Hill Blue Diamond Prelude (Fillies') over five and a half furlongs at Caulfield on February 14.
She finished well to take third on her debut in the five-furlong Sportingbet Powered By William Hill Blue Diamond Preview at Sandown Hill on January 26.
John O'Shea commented: "Pursuits has barrier trialled since her run in the Blue Diamond Prelude and trained on beautifully.
"We have added blinkers and she looks absolutely magnificent. I hope the inside rail run is not off at Flemington, we can't guarantee that but, irrespective, she will give a good account of herself.
Pursuits, drawn two and ridden by James Doyle for the first time, tackles seven other juvenile fillies including Group One Blue Diamond Stakes sixth Air Apparent, Listed winner Pasadena Girl and maiden scorer Andrioli.
