Quick turnaround for La Quemada in G3 Kokura Daishoten

La Quemada lines up for the second time in the space of eight days as he returns to Graded company for the G3 Kokura Daishoten at Kokura, Japan, on Sunday, 23 February.
The American Patriot entire was beaten less than three lengths in total when ninth in the Listed Rakuyo Stakes at Kyoto last week.
Trained by Teruhiko Chida, La Quemada registered the most recent of two Stakes wins at Tokyo in May but failed to beat a rival on his only previous G3 outing in the following month’s Epsom Cup.
