Robillard Bids For Mrs Revere

Robillard returns to G2 level for the Mrs Revere Stakes over an extended mile on turf at Churchill Downs, USA, on Saturday, November 14.

The Kiaran McLaughlin-trained three-year-old filly made all of the running for a decisive victory in a mile allowance race on turf at Keeneland on October 7.

The daughter of Distorted Humor was eighth, beaten just over four lengths, on her only previous appearance in a Group race in the extended mile G2 Lake George Stakes on turf at Saratoga on July 24.

She gained two emphatic wins over the same distance, also on turf, earlier this year at Belmont Park and Keeneland.

Kiaran McLaughlin commented: "This is the final chance for Robillard to run against three-year-old filles on the turf and it looks a pretty tough race.

"She likes to be on or near the lead and we will have to see if she can break well and sit first or second.

"We were trying to settle off the pace in the Lake George Stakes, but she made all to win well last time."

Junior Alvorado rides Robillard for the second time after winning on her last month.

The Godolphin filly, who is drawn in stall 1, faces 13 rivals including Lake George Stakes fourth Partisan Politics, G3 Commonwealth Oaks winner Onus and G1 Queen Elizabeth II Challenge Cup Stakes fifth Return To Grace.
