Rock’n Swing grabs G3 Black Type in Prix de Psyche

Rock’n Swing closed from the rear of the field to take third in a blanket finish for the places in the G3 Prix de Psyche at Deauville, France, on Sunday, 28 July.

The Andre Fabre-trained filly, dropping down in grade after contesting the G1 Poule d’Essai des Pouliches and G1 Prix de Diane, raced in a clear last for much of the 10-furlong contest as all-the-way winner Almara strung out the five runners. 

Mickael Barzalona switched Rock’n Swing wide at the top of the straight and the Camelot homebred stayed on down the centre of the course, pipping Rose Jaipur for third on the line and missing out on second by a short-head.
