Three-year-old filly Sara Street steps up in class and trip for the G2 Gazelle Stakes over nine furlongs on dirt at Aqueduct, USA, on Saturday, 7 April.

The daughter of Street Sense makes a third consecutive appearance at the New York course, having kept on to finish second in the mile non-Graded Busher Stakes on March 3 and gained a comfortable victory in a maiden over six and a half furlongs on 4 February.

Dylan Davis, on board for both of those starts, has the ride again on Sara Street, who breaks from stall five in a field of six which also includes Busher Stakes winner Midnight Disguise (by a length and three quarters).

Trainer Kiaran McLaughlin commented: “Sara Street ran really well against a similar group of fillies in the Busher Stakes and has been doing well.

“She should be fine with the step up in distance and is getting some weight from Midnight Disguise, who beat her last time out.

“We wanted to give her a try in a nice race like this and hopefully we can get a piece of it.”
