Sarajevo steps back up in class and distance in the seven-furlong Group Two Hyland Race Colours Autumn Stakes at Caulfield, Australia, on Saturday, February 14.

The three-year-old colt, trained by John O'Shea, battled away for a comfortable victory in a six-furlong handicap at Rosehill Gardens on January 31.

He stayed on to finish sixth in the seven-furlong Group One De Bortoli Wines Golden Rose Stakes at Rosehill Gardens on September 13.

The son of Lonhro was previously fourth over six furlongs in both the Group Three MTA NSW Run To The Rose, also at Rosehill Gardens, on August 30 and the Listed Rosebud Stakes at Royal Randwick on August 9.

John O'Shea remarked: "Sarajevo has travelled down really well to Melbourne. He has an awkward gate (14) but this is the fittest he has ever been going to the races.

"As long as the track is firm, he will give a good account of himself."

Sarajevo, ridden by Chad Schofield for the first time, faces 13 rivals including recent Sandown Hill winner Profit Share, Group Three Manfred Stakes third Affirmation and Moonee Valley scorer Hong Kong Captain.
