Whispering Dream continued an excellent run of form with a rallying second in the G3 Goldene Peitsche at Baden-Baden on Sunday, 25 August.
Returning to Germany after winning a Munich Listed race in July, the Henri-Alex Pantall-trained filly broke alertly in the six-furlong sprint and found plenty of cover in mid-division.
Whispering Dream made good headway after being switched out by Adrie de Vries a furlong and a half out and moved up to second entering the final furlong.
The homebred four-year-old closed on Al Shabab Storm all the way to the line, with the winner holding on by half a length as the front pulled three and a half lengths clear of third home Knock On.
