The John O'Shea-trained four-year-olds Sweynesse and It's Somewhat go to post in the seven-furlong Group Two Tattersalls Club Tramway Stakes at Royal Randwick on Saturday, September 5.
James McDonald takes the ride for the fourth time on Sweynesse, who is making his first appearance since finishing down the field in the Group One The Star Doncaster Mile at Royal Randwick on April 6.
The Lonhro colt was an excellent performer last season, annexing two Group Three contests over around a mile in September, 2014.
His best run came in defeat, when he was runner-up by three quarters of a length to Hallowed Crown in the mile Group One Girvan Waugh Randwick Guineas at Royal Randwick on March 7.
It's Somewhat, the mount of Glen Boss for the first time, returned with an eighth in the Group Two Pro-Ride Warwick Stakes over seven furlongs at Royal Randwick on August 22.
He made two appearances in Australia last season, headed by a comfortable win in the Group Three Liverpool City Cup over an extended six furlongs at Warwick Farm on February 28.
It's Somewhat was previously campaigned in the UK, where the pick of his form was third in the Group One Coral-Eclipse over 10 furlongs at Sandown Park in July, 2014.
John O'Shea said: "First-up from a spell, Sweynesse has had a wonderful preparation, is very adept on wet ground and, by this late stage of the day, he should be able to handle a chopped up track very well.
"From gate 12 he will go back and attack the line. I anticipate that he will run particularly well and has good improvement to come on whatever he does.
"Second-up from a spell, It's Somewhat looked a little disappointing on paper first-up but I was still happy with his performance.
"From gate nine, he will roll forward and get into the race. He does like a bit of jar out of the ground which he will get here and consequently I expect a much improved performance from him; he may even be our best winning chance in this race."
A total of 12 rivals go to post in the Tattersalls Club Tramway Stakes, including Group One Emirates Melbourne Cup winner Protectionist and multiple Group Three scorer Flamingo Star.
Two other Godolphin horses, also trained by John O'Shea, Hauraki and Malice, are among the reserves for the race.
