Teehaff goes for G3 Keeneland Cup

Teehaff aims for glory in the G3 Keeneland Cup, staged over six furlongs on turf at Sapporo, Japan on Sunday, 26 August.
The eight-year-old Storming Home horse, trained by Katsuichi Nishiura, was last seen out when finishing down the field in the turf G3 Hakodate Sprint Stakes over six furlongs at Hakodate on 17 June.
He was successful in a six-furlong turf conditions contest at Kyoto on 6 May and scored at G3 level in the 2015 Hakodate Sprint Stakes. He was also third in the 2015 renewal of the Keeneland Cup.
Yusaku Kokubun takes the ride in the Keeneland Cup with the 15 other starters including this year’s Hakodate Sprint Stakes runner-up Hiruno Devaro, G2 Keio Hai Spring Cup scorer Moonquake and Let’s Go Donki, successful in the 2015 G1 Japanese 1,000 Guineas.
