The four-year-old filly, trained by Saeed bin Suroor, made most of the running to gain an easy three-length success on her Dubai World Cup Carnival debut in the G2 Cape Verdi Sponsored By EGA over a mile on February 4.
The daughter of Lope De Vega made three appearances on the All-Weather, all over a mile on Polytrack, in the UK last year, finishing second in a pair of Listed contests in the autumn and readily taking a conditions race at Kempton Park in April.
Saeed bin Suroor commented: "Very Special won the Cape Verdi nicely and has been working well.
"She is in good form and the step up to nine furlongs will be no problem, although this will be a tougher race for her."
Regular rider James Doyle again partners Very Special, drawn four, who faces six rivals headed by US G1 winner Euro Charline, plus Excily, More Aspen, Si Luna, Malka and Icecapada who were second, third, fourth and dead-heating fifth in the Cape Verdi Sponsored By EGA.
