What a year for Club Godolphin!
Getting closer to your team, Godolphin

It is now 12 months since Club Godolphin was launched, and what a year it has been!
The entertainment began back in January, when the first round of the Club’s Fantasy Stable League kicked off and almost 3,500 Club members picked their stables to be in with a chance of winning a trip to this year’s Dubai World Cup meeting.
There have been two more rounds since then, with even more Club members getting involved, and there’s another chance to play very soon, as round four launches this week. The league will open for selections to be made, with the first points on offer when the Dubai World Cup Carnival starts at Meydan on 11 January.
As well as the Fantasy Stable League, there were a whole host of other competitions, offering members the opportunity to enjoy a day at the races or get exclusive behind-the-scenes access into the world of Godolphin.
Throughout the Dubai World Cup Carnival, tickets to Meydan were up for grabs, plus for one lucky winner, an exclusive tour of Marmoom Stables, home to Charlie Appleby’s string in Dubai.
Days out included a trip to the world-famous Epsom Derby, tickets for the Darley July Cup – one of the pinnacles of British summer racing, a Club day out at Ascot, and all UK-based Club members were invited to Newmarket in October for the Dubai Future Champions Festival.
Meanwhile in Australia, the Spring Carnival proved another highlight with Club members relishing each of the main carnival days including the race that stops the nation – the 2017 Melbourne Cup at Flemington. Four lucky members also enjoyed a day in our suite at Royal Randwick, Sydney, where they witnessed a great day's racing and hospitality from the Godolphin team.
In Ireland, competition winners were given a private tour of the beautiful Kildangan Stud in County Kildare, plus a trip to the Curragh for the Darley Irish Oaks and the Galway Festival. Club Godolphin also invited 50 students for a tour of the stud and a day at Leopardstown races on Irish Champions Weekend.
Fans in the US had the chance to watch the first leg of America’s Triple Crown, The Kentucky Derby, plus enjoy a visit to Godolphin’s Saratoga base, Greentree Farm, where they enjoyed a private tour of the historic 100-stall barns and training facilities. Also on offer was a tour of Jonabell and Gainsborough farms in Kentucky, home of the Darley stallions in the US, plus many of Godolphin’s mares and foals.
Early in December, ten people headed to Godolphin’s UK headquarters, Dalham Hall Stud, where they had a chance to see 15 of the Darley stallions, including three who they had no doubt been following on the racecourse – Ribchester, Barney Roy and Profitable.
Next year, there will be even more chances to win fantastic racing experiences and behind-the-scenes tours, plus of course the opportunity to be at Meydan for the spectacular Dubai World Cup meeting, so there’s every reason to get involved!
