Creachadoir (IRE)

Creachadoir began with Jim Bolger in Ireland and, while he performed creditably as a two-year-old, it wasn't until his three-year-old campaign that he really impressed; he won twice in Group 3 company and went close to gaining an elusive first Group 1 success in both the Poule d'Essai des Poulains and the Irish 2,000 Guineas, when he was beaten just a length by Cockney Rebel; he joined Godolphin mid-season and they got an immediate return on their investment when he won the Group 3 Joel Stakes at Newmarket; gained his only victory at the highest level when winning the Lockinge Stakes at Newbury at four, but was sadly denied the opportunity of running in the Queen Anne Stakes as he sustained a fracture to his off-fore; retired after one run at five
