Godolphin was honoured as Best Owner at the HH Sheikh Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Maktoum Horseracing Excellence Awards, which were presented two days before 2018 Dubai World Cup Night on Thursday, 29 March. 

The awards recognise the best performances throughout the year from the horses, jockeys, trainers and owners who competed on Dubai World Cup Night in 2017, as well as the Lifetime Achievement Award and fan-voted People’s Choice Award.

Godolphin enjoyed a stellar 12 months in 2017, winning 18 G1 races throughout the world.

The rich vein of form continued at this year’s Dubai World Cup Night on Saturday, 31 March, with Godolphin gaining four G1 victories through Jungle Cat in the Al Quoz Sprint, Benbatl in the Dubai Turf, Hawkbill in the Dubai Sheema Classic and Thunder Snow in the Dubai World Cup Sponsored by Emirates.
