Annual Report won the six-furlong G2 Futurity Stakes easily in the end at Belmont Park, USA, on Saturday, October 17 and remains unbeaten.

The Kiaran McLaughlin-trained two-year-old colt, impressive on debut at Parx on September 20, was hampered after emerging from the stalls, dropped back to last of the six runners and had to be ridden along by Joe Bravo.

Switched to the outside turning him, Annual Report improved to fifth and continued to make progress in the straight.

Despite drifting left, he went ahead with a furlong remaining and, straightened up, ran on well.

Joe Bravo was able to take things easily in the closing stages on Annual Report, winning by a length and a half from King Kranz in 1m 9.82s on dirt.

Kiaran McLaughlin reported: "Annual Report was pretty badly squeezed out at the start and dropped back to last.So it was an excellent performance to end up winning so well.

"He is a colt I am excited about and hopefully he has bright future.

"We will put him over a longer distance next time and hope to run him again this year, with one of the options being the Jockey Club at Churchill Downs (G2, 1m 110y, November 28)."
